NETGEAR needed to move to temporary accommodation while the team looked for a building in which to locate their new UK and Ireland headquarters.
Over a period of three days, Active packed and moved furniture and non-essential personal and company effects into storage facilities. Meanwhile, the team also moved essential IT, paperwork and furniture to the temporary address. Furniture and effects were securely managed and containerised for 12 months before being moved and installed in the new premises.
Not only were both moves completed smoothly but, while NETGEAR was based in its serviced office accommodation, the company was able to use the online inventory for its storage effects and recall anything that was needed a maximum of 48 hours later – which included those invaluables like special tea mugs.
